Be BOLD. (Josha 1:9 & Deuteronomy 31:6) both commands us to be bold and courageous.
How can I not be bold and courageous when it’s about HIM?
I love talking about Jesus. I love having fellowship with others who have a passion for God. I even enjoy conversing with non-believers, hoping that maybe God will use me to speak truth into their lives.
However, my insecurities has limited me from spreading good news & has limited me from doing more work for His kingdom. I am am not ashamed of the gospel; it is just that my insecurities consumed me. I was afraid that no one would be interested in what I had to say; that my words are not important; that I may bore the other person; or that I am not knowledgeable enough.
And today, God pwned me.
A special brother of mine told me what I needed to hear. Not something that I expected, but definitely needed to hear. He was not offending me or discouraging me but instead, he had the right intentions to encourage me to be more bold and passionate for what I love.
God is more than worthy of anything we have to offer Him - so I must offer Him ALL that I’ve got! We are precious children of God; called to do work for His kingdom. Exodus 4:11 mentions that the LORD is the One who gave us the ability to talk, see, hear; all of which He has the control of letting us keep, or taking them away. I must use my mouth to speak the words of truth; eyes to seek Him; ears to intently listen to Him. If I put all my trust into the Lord & rely on Him to use me in whichever way He pleases, what do I have to be afraid of?
God knows where my heart is at & He is for me. He is on my side. I will not hesitate to speak of You, You who are my Passion & my Love. I will be bold & courageous for You.
God has truly blessed me & I pray that I can be a blessing for those around me, in whichever way it may be that God uses me. I pray God, that You would use me as a warrior who stands firm and unafraid to do Your work.
Hebrews 4:16
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
