I’ll Worship at Your Throne Whisper my own love song With all my heart I’ll sing For You my Dad and King I’ll live for all my days To Put a smile on Your face And when we finally meet It’ll be for eternity
And Oh how wide You open up Your arms When I need Your love And how far You would come If ever I was lost And You said that all You feel for me Is undying love That You showed me through the cross
I’ll worship You my God I’ll worship You my God I love You I love You Forever I will sing Forever I will be with You Be with You
Jesus, when I start to drift from You, I feel nervous, uptight, & insecure. But I have this indescribable sense of comfort, peace, & rest when I seek & grow towards You. Thank You so much for loving me beyond description, that You would continue to grab my attention like that, despite the countless times I turn my back on You. You are such a loving, patient, and merciful God.
There is nothing in this world that I can offer You, that would measure up to what You have done for me, therefore I offer You everything. I pray that my desire for You will grow every single day of my life & that everything I do will be a glory for Your kingdom.
I want to live my life full of the Words, praise, and prayer.
Happy moments, praise God. Difficult moments, seek God. Quiet moments, worship God. Painful moments, trust God. Every moment, thank God.
The strongest testimony to Jesus Christ in your academics is to pursue excellence and integrity, to see that God has given you the ability and privilege to learn, and to pursue these things in quiet humility. More than that, he has called you to be a living sacrifice (Rom 12:1) and to love…
Be BOLD. (Josha 1:9 & Deuteronomy 31:6) both commands us to be bold and courageous.
How can I not be bold and courageous when it’s about HIM? I love talking about Jesus. I love having fellowship with others who have a passion for God. I even enjoy conversing with non-believers, hoping that maybe God will use me to speak truth into their lives.
However, my insecurities has limited me from spreading good news & has limited me from doing more work for His kingdom. I am am not ashamed of the gospel; it is just that my insecurities consumed me. I was afraid that no one would be interested in what I had to say; that my words are not important; that I may bore the other person; or that I am not knowledgeable enough.
And today, God pwned me. A special brother of mine told me what I needed to hear. Not something that I expected, but definitely needed to hear. He was not offending me or discouraging me but instead, he had the right intentions to encourage me to be more bold and passionate for what I love.
God is more than worthy of anything we have to offer Him - so I must offer Him ALL that I’ve got! We are precious children of God; called to do work for His kingdom. Exodus 4:11 mentions that the LORD is the One who gave us the ability to talk, see, hear; all of which He has the control of letting us keep, or taking them away. I must use my mouth to speak the words of truth; eyes to seek Him; ears to intently listen to Him. If I put all my trust into the Lord & rely on Him to use me in whichever way He pleases, what do I have to be afraid of?
God knows where my heart is at & He is for me. He is on my side. I will not hesitate to speak of You, You who are my Passion & my Love. I will be bold & courageous for You.
God has truly blessed me & I pray that I can be a blessing for those around me, in whichever way it may be that God uses me. I pray God, that You would use me as a warrior who stands firm and unafraid to do Your work.
Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
1 Corinthians 16:13 Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.
Ephesians 2:4-5, 13 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
The precious blood of Jesus Christ redeems Forgiven I’m alive restored set free Your majesty resides inside of me Forever I believe Forever I believe Arrested by Your truth and righteousness Your grace has overwhelmed my brokenness Convicted by Your spirit led by Your word Your love will never fail Your love will never fail
I know You gave The word Your only Son for us To know Your name To live within the Saviour’s love He took my place Knowing He’d be crucified And You loved You loved a people undeserving
Matthew 10:39 Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
My eyes are fixed on You, and You alone. Lord, You are too good, I don’t want to miss out on Your works. Guide me, teach me, mold me, use me, capture me, take all of me, for I am Yours. Shine Your light & let Your glory be revealed; let Your will be done.
Grace Lee, here’s a short preview before I tell you the goodness in person! :) And of course, for anyone else!
Past Paul Washer’s sermon was such a blessing yesterday.
- The command to love is an old command; it’s always been there. But it’s also a new command - that we love one another as He loves us. (John 13:34-35) (1 John 2:7-8) - There is no greater manifestation of love than what was done on cavalry. - Christianity is about the revelation of God, and that we can be reconciled with God’s love. - Manifestation of the cross - it’s not about what they did to Jesus. It’s when the Holy Son of God bore our sins; by His wounds we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24). God crushed Him like a sinner, they way we had to be treated. It pleased the LORD to crush the Messiah (Isaiah 53). - How do you love God more? You have to be saved. Know Him more; discover all the glory’s of God. It’ll draw out affection & captivate us. - Being a prisoner of the love of God is stronger than death. - God loved us before we loved Him. God sent His son for us while we were His enemies. God loved us when we did not love Him. - We must strive to love one another the way God loves us. - Love is not something in our Christian ethic. It’s everything. - There is no escape when God loved us and never failed us; there is no other love even comparable to God! Let’s soak in His love. - Salvation is by faith alone. Being born again is to describe regeneration of our hearts. We are new creatures. We will still fall with flesh and get caught between two worlds, but we will change & grow. The change will be evident. The evidence is that you are still repenting and still believing exclusively in Christ as our only Hope. - Faith in Christ - looking unto Jesus. - Growing freedom over sin. Growing power over sin. - sanctification. - We don’t give God the full extent of love that He deserves. - Evidence of Christian is that as you are in the word, we are sanctified and becoming more like Christ. Making progress. Press on, move forward for Christ. God is relentless. (John 8:31-32) - Bear fruit (John 15:8) - Love defined by action. We are loving the person who are laying down our life for. Serving people. - Genuine love is in the closest relationships. If you can love those closest to you, it will be easier to love those further away. - John 13:35 - 1 John 2:8 - Matthew 25: 31-40
Psalm 59:16-17 But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
“God has given me a love for you that I have never had before. And I have asked Him to forgive me. And I am hoping, I am praying, that somehow you would be able to forgive me too. I do not want to live the rest of my life without you.”—Fireproof. MUST WATCH THIS MOVIE EVERYONE. SO GOOD.. <3 <3 <3
Easter is not just an event. It is the day of resurrection and Jesus is the resurrection. Easter is a way of life. Let’s rejoice & be thankful not only today but celebrate Jesus every day. More and more each day :)
Isaiah 53:5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Romans 4:25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
1 Timothy 1:12-17 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Thank you for the cross Lord Thank you for the price You paid Bearing all my sin and shame In love You came And gave amazing grace
Thank you for this love Lord Thank you for the nail pierced hands Washed me in Your cleansing flow Now all I know Your forgiveness and embrace
Worthy is the Lamb Seated on the throne Crown You now with many crown You reign victorious High and lifted up Jesus Son of God The Darling of Heaven crucified Worthy is the Lamb Worthy is the Lamb
John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
Revelation 5:12 In a loud voice they sang: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”—Colossians 3:23-24
The last minute decision to actually go to lock-in was probably the best decision I made in a while.
Fellowship with my class & leaders was quality. But more than anything, the message from God was something I wouldn’t have traded for anything else.
This is the “summary of a summary” in bullet-form of what what the message talked about. I just wanted to share for those who might have been interested but missed out. I’d be more than happy to share much more details in person :)!
- I am Your planned pregnancy (Ephesians 1:5); He adopted us & chose us despite all our sins & shortcomings. He adopted us knowing our past, present, & future. - I BELONG to You & I have freedom in You - He wants so much for us to belong & be in Him. - Know, trust, rely, commit, & have intimacy with God; get to know him with questions - God is not insecure about us questioning Him. - Jesus did the dance, so we can receive the hug. - There is no failure in the Kingdom of God; we grow by experience. - He’ll never quit on us; He’s always with us, even if we can’t find words. - Let go of all the expectations, stress, & take off your mask - then God will take us to His journey! (Matthew 10:39) - We will make it at the end! - the Truth will set us free (John 8:32) - God could care less about our behavior, He is interested in getting deeper. - Heart is the place of transformation - guard it - God searched our heart; He wants to drop something so amazing; He wants to make a huge deposit (Psalm 139:23-24) - Jesus didn’t have lots of messages; He just did life with people. - The spirit can get us to the places we can’t get to (Romans 8) - Do ‘everything’ in Him, do out of who you are in Him; then we are in His active name where He is seen. (1 Peter 4) - God is a name changer - He speaks who we are. He chose us to give us His name that speaks against every lie. - Our names are tattooed on his palms (Isaiah 49) - GOD LOVES US… SO MUCH BEYOND DESCRIPTION.
I received 3 names - one of which I’ve been praying about for a while & two of which I gained over night. These names all have a testimony to go along with it too, which I’d also love to share!
Lock-In was just a short time period, but God’s presence soaked the room. I just couldn’t get enough of it.
Seriously, thank You Lord; glory to God all the way.
